I'm all about meeting new people and making new friends so I can't wait to get to know you! I'm also a hugger so lets skip the shaking hands.
I'm a natural light photographer based in Portland, OR and traveling worldwide. What do I mean by natural light photographer? I have a big heart for the incredible nature that God put at our fingertips to use and enjoy so my favorite thing is to get out in nature and do sessions in it. BUT that's not all I do. Ultimately, I get down on your comfort level and if that means taking photos right in your home then I'm there also!
Just a little backstory on how I got into this business. When I was a child, I loved taking pictures of everything. And I mean everything! (I get that from my mom.) Now my dad didn't share this same joy as me because back then it was all film and every snapshot I took...he knew he had to pay to develop. We love to look back on that time of my life now and see where it got me. Its a funny story to reflect on, but so rewarding to see a joy turn into a passion and that passion turn into a career!
In your visit here, you'll see that I'm simply drawn to love. My heart is to capture love in the most authentic way. If you have love to share, lets get to showing it off!
I believe that every photo tells a story and your story is worth capturing!

A little Q & A to get to know the person behind the lens
Share a little about yourself.
I am a Believer, wife to Jimmy, and bunny mama to our sassy lionhead, Pepper. I love to adventure, travel, play sports and could pretty much live off of salmon!
How do you describe your photography style?
I would say I am a happy medium between the light & airy look and the dark & moody. I love mixing the two to create the bold and vibrant look. My tastes are always changing so I try to continually break out of the box with my creativity.
Where do you find inspiration for your photography?
I find most of my inspiration from my family and husband since they supported me through it all. The growth of my business wouldn't have happened without them from the start. After them, I find inspiration from other like-minded photographers. I am a supporter of the idea of community over competition and I am so thankful for the other photographers that believe in that also.
What are your favorite types of shoots?
I absolutely love couples and families! Getting to capture raw emotion and love gets me every single time!
What type of gear do you use?
I am a Canon gal through and through! I currently have a 5D Mark III and am in love with the full frame! It has been a game changer for my photography. As for lenses, my go to is my 35mm.
What do you want people to see when they view your photography?
I want people to "feel" more than they "see" when they come across my photography. I want the understanding that every photo tells a story to be clear and for them to know that their photos should do just that!
What is a fun fact about you?
I love the show Survivor!! Survivor has been on since 2000 and I haven’t missed an episode. 18 years and still going! My dream is to be on the show one day.
