Alison + Isaac | Cannon Beach, Oregon Engagement

It was 53 degrees out and who knows what the water temperature was, but Alison and Isaac still braved it all with me. I have to say that outside of running around with them as they played tag, my favorite part was chilling with them at the coffee shop and getting to know their story! They had us rolling in laughter as they told us how they met. That quickly turned to the good kind of chills as they told the proposal details. So without further ado, I’m going to let the words of Alison speak for themselves.

Isaac Cheng, it seems like ages ago when I first convinced you I went to Cherry Crest and was in the same kindergarten class as you. Despite finding out that this was a complete and utter lie (and making you wonder who does that to a stranger they've just met), we quickly became friends the beginning of our freshmen year.

Every so often, I think back to this moment and can't help but laugh. You truly cherished your time in kindergarten; it was unfathomable to you that you could forget an old classmate, yet freshman Alison kept telling you otherwise...

But here we are, nearly 5 years later and how the tables have turned (you literally turned all my tables)... You got down on one knee and made sure that my very first kindergarten classroom would be one I would never forget... From now and for the rest of my life, I will never forget how I saw two of my biggest dreams come true in the very same room: becoming a kindergarten teacher and saying yes to becoming your wife.

Isaac, thank you for your thoughtfulness and dedication to our relationship and our future. I can't begin to put into words how blessed I've been to walk and grow beside you, in our faith, in our passions, and in our relationship.
